LaMé Essentials Counseling & Consulting, PLLC was founded on the belief that ethical, confident clinicians create meaningful and lasting healing. Led by Kelci Ellis, a Licensed Professional Counselor in Texas, the practice is dedicated to supporting both clients and the next generation of counselors.
Kelci’s personal journey through challenging supervision experiences inspired her mission: to ensure emerging clinicians feel prepared, supported, and confident during their provisional years.

Professional Foundations
After earning her Master’s degree in Counseling from the University of Mary Hardin-Baylor, Kelci Ellis became a Licensed Professional Counselor in Texas. Early experiences navigating licensure challenges shaped her understanding of how essential ethical, supportive, and culturally responsive counseling is for both clients and clinicians.
Clarifying the Calling
Through working with an encouraging and professionally invested supervisor, Kelci gained clarity in her mission: to support clients in their mental health journey and provide professional guidance to counselors navigating their careers.
LaMé Essentials Is Formed
LaMé Essentials Counseling & Consulting, PLLC was established to provide a safe, supportive space for clients and a resource hub for counselors. The practice began offering consultations, digital resources, and educational tools designed to guide counselors through licensure, professional growth, and ethical practice.
Advancing Clinical Expertise
Kelci pursued her PhD in Counselor Education and Supervision, deepening her focus on ethical practice, cultural responsiveness, and supporting clients with mental health challenges. LaMé Essentials expanded its reach by providing consultations and resources for counselors across multiple states.
